News July•2009 Bacharach Jelly Fish Collage Hangs in National Aquarium Artist Roger Bacharach presents Suzanne Ebbert, Director of Membership at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, with his collage of the "Japanese Sea Nettle". To celebrate the opening of the extraordinary Jellies Exhibit at the National Aquarium and honor the team that contributed to its creation, Roger Bacharach presented a print of his original “Japanese Sea Nettle” as a gift to the Aquarium. The artist created the original collage of the Japanese Sea Nettle by making small precise cuts in colored tissue paper then layering the papers individually to capture the rich colors and fresh brightness giving the viewer the impression the creatures are alive.
